A graduate of the Faculty of Agriculture and Biology at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW). She earned her Master of Science in Biology in 2012. In 2019, she earned her PhD (specializing in biochemistry) from the Medical University of Lodz. Her dissertation focused on changes in gene expression of selected microRNAs in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. In 2019, she became the principal investigator of a research project funded by the National Science Centre (NCN) under the Preludium 15 grant, entitled “The Role of miR-30a-5p in the Pathogenesis of Lung Cancer.” Since 2018, she has been employed as a research and teaching assistant professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW). From 2022 to 2024, she was an investigator in the Sonata Bis 9 NCN research project. She completed an internship at the Laboratory of Molecular Cytogenetics at the Institute of Mother and Child in Warsaw, as well as internships abroad at the University of Lisbon (Erasmus student exchange program) and Karunya University in India (IAESTE). She has supervised three theses in the fields of Biology and Biotechnology at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW). She is currently conducting post-doc research at CEZAMAT PW.
